Yoga has been an integral part of my life for the past 46 years. Throughout that time, I have maintained a regular personal practice – while raising my 2 children, while teaching and performing as a musician for many years, and during a hectic 17 year career at IBM. The benefits of yoga – stress relief, healing, and spiritual connection – have enabled me to have a healthy lifestyle and live life to the fullest, doing the things I love – travelling, gardening, running, piloting my own aircraft!
I believe that yoga can aid anyone at any age or level of ability who seeks greater health, wellbeing and peace in their daily lives. It is a way of life that I seek to share with others.
I hold a Diploma in Piano Performance from New England Conservatory of Music, where I specialized in 20th century and avant garde music. I also hold a Bachelor of Education degree and was a music and theater arts teacher for over 15 years.
