George first found yoga in 2011 whilst volunteering in Sri Lanka. On her return to the UK she experimented with a variety of styles to compliment her creative lifestyle before finding the perfect practice that challenged her with juicy backbends and invigorating inversions. George returned to Sri Lanka in 2017 to complete her yoga teacher training with Quantum Yoga founder; Lara Baumann. Following this, she started her teaching career at retreat centres across the island. George believes that retreats can transform guests into better versions of themselves and she is passionate about collaborating with other teachers to offer this opportunity to their students.

Now settled in the UK, George teaches classes across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and online platforms along with twice annual retreats internationally. She has since been back to Sri Lanka to study with Lara and assist her in delivering the 2018 Quantum Yoga teacher training course in which she received the 500hr certification. George aims to challenge students in their yoga practice with playful compositions and extraordinary asanas whilst soothing them with her compassionate and peaceful nature. Her laid back vibes naturally led her to explore Yin Yoga; a passive practice that aspires to work deeper into the connective tissues of the body through long held poses. George travelled to Vancouver in 2019 to train with one of the pioneers of Yin Yoga; Bernie Clark who has an entertaining and informative teaching style that contrasts mythical stories and scientific insights. She has experienced that practicing a combination of Quantum and Yin Yoga maximises physical health by balancing strength, endurance and flexibility whilst stabilising heart and mind. George is working towards teaching her own 200hr yoga teacher training course by continuing to study with the most influential teachers worldwide and truly hopes to inspire others to follow.
